According to Reuters, a survey published by the British Heart Foundation, found that young people tend to make assumptions about the dangers of cigarettes based on their packaging. This has led to the charity urging the UK government to implement legislation to make cigarette packaging less attractive.
The British Heart Foundation collected responses from almost 3000 people between the ages of 16 to 25. Around three quarters of the group, which included smokers and non-smokers, felt that not having colourful images, brands or logos, accompanied by large warnings about the danger of smoking would make it more likely that people won’t take up smoking, smoke less or....
