Dr Kesar Hussain graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree. He also completed a post-graduate qualification with the NHS Leadership Academy.
Following this, he went on to work in Emergency Medicine, where he discovered his passion for Minor surgery.
Dr Hussain currently works as a GP who manages junior doctors and medical students. He has a breadth of both face-to-face and digital experience.

Dr Kesar Hussain attended the University of Sheffield, where he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. He also completed a post-graduate qualification with the NHS Leadership Academy.
Since beginning his medical career, Dr Hussain has worked across a variety of different fields. Initially, he worked in Emergency Medicine. Here he was able to develop his medical knowledge and surgical skills.
Later on, he became a registered general practitioner. As well as treating patients on a daily basis, he manages junior GPs and medical students.
Alongside his role as GP, Dr Hussain runs a Minor Surgery, providing both joint injections and micro-suction. He’s also an approved clinical supervisor in the East Midlands deanery.
